THE UNIVERSE OF VISUAL SUGGESTIONS IN INSTRUMENTAL THEATRE WORKS
Keywords:

Although announced as a trend even before the middle of the previous century, the phenomenon of syncretism manifested itself in all its fullness after 1950. After this historical moment, one can even speak of a manifest preference for an aesthetics of the impure, not in a pejorative sense, but in the sense of renouncing the purity of artistic species, of the preference for miscegenation, of some once unacceptable combinations, the results of which were the frontier artistic genres. The artistic mixes question the specificity of each genre and place the boundaries under the sign of lability. Instrumental theatre also fits into this new cultural vision, as a result of the fusion between the instrumental and acting interpretation of some scores.
