MAGIC TRADITION BETWEEN INVENTION AND IMITATION

Abstract

The article aims to discuss aspects related to magical tradition seen between invention and imitation, because contemporary visual works frequently present themselves as events that use at the same time the most traditional techniques and the most innovative ones; they are more and more situated at the intersection of disciplines and art (of invention and imitation), evoking naturally that notion of “total art” so dear to the avant-garde trends of this century.
