Abstract

It can be said that jazz was destined to rehabilitate and legitimize "improvised music" serving as a basis for revolutionizing the creative process of music in the second half of the 20th century. The improvisation expected by jazz music will constitute a means of a formidable explosion within the framework of classical music through the aleatoric current. Including for this reason, certain jazz pieces (standards) composed by the pioneers of this genre deserve to be analyzed, because from an aesthetic point of view they are in no way inferior to certain pieces composed in the classical spirit of music.
