ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF THE DRUM KIT

Abstract

This article is a presentation of the essential elements of the drum set. However, we must understand that the evolution and development of the drum set has occurred and will continue to occur in close connection with either the manufacturing technology of the drum shells that form the set as a whole, or the cymbals, or the membranes. Another important component in this evolution of the drum set is the interpretative ability of the drummers, it being acquired in close connection with the emancipation and development of musical genres.
