THE OLO FOR VIOLIN IN THE CREATION OF RICHARD STRAUSS. Research directions (I)

Abstract

The main objective of the study is to carry out a complex analysisof the violin solos from the creation of Richard Strauss. This analysis willbe focused on the interpretative-violinistic vision of the concertmaster.Simultaneously with the direction of the specifically violinistic analysis ofhis creation, the research will follow and integrate general aspects of form,harmony, melody, structure, orchestration, figuration, as well as therelationship/role of concertmaster with the conductor and the rest of theorchestral ensemble. All this aims to elucidate the ways in which theviolinist approaches, from the position of concertmaster, the technical andinterpretative difficulties of Richard Strauss's works.
