Abstract

Counseling and professional guidance of students is an integral part of specialized music education in pre-university music education. The personal and professional success of young people largely depends on the skill of the teachers who guide and train them during the 12 years of schooling. In order to cope with social, cultural and economic demands in the future artistic career, students need teachers who have transversal competences and skills. By acquiring new professional skills in the digital field, mentoring and coaching, specialized teachers have the opportunity to streamline and facilitate students' performance training and ensure musical education at the highest quality standards at the institution level.
