THREE YEARS ON PAPER. JURNAL NOTES ABOUT UNCONVENTIONAL INTERVENTIONS IN CONTEMPORARY VISUAL PRACTICE AND IN ONE'S OWN CREATION

Abstract

Three years on ”paper”, 205 drawings, 1,095 days under his arm and a date. This pseudo-journal uses the time when drawing seemed like a liturgical act to me, exploring meant living dangerously, and painting had unfortunately become an obsession! But the life of every artist is the sum of at least two providential meetings. An encounter preceded by others, essential, bearing several names; Romul Nuțiu, Georg Lecca and Constantin Flondor. Those situations, some predetermined, others providential, which deeply mark your existence. The unconsumed, imaginary or utopian, are named after dreams: Serge Gainsbourg, Roland Barthes, Boris Vian, Jean Génet, Julie Mehretu or Jean-Pierre Raynaud. And the list is open.
