Abstract

An important feature is that the Banat tradition has promotedcultural life throughout the community, consisting of both Romanians andSerbs, Hungarians, Bulgarians and Saxons. Against the background of mutualtolerance, the feeling of belonging determined both the preservation of moraland spiritual values and specific traditions. Culture has thus become the mainbinder of the inhabitants of these lands, the entire cultural sphere generatingimportant opportunities for the development of a harmonious life.
