WEDDING AND SPECIFIC REPERTOIRE FROM BANAT IN CONTEMPORARY TIME

Abstract

In the totality of folkloric customs, the family life customs havea special place, representing the nucleus of organization and ofperformance of the ceremonial and of the folkloric ritual, the triad birthmarriage-death becoming a functional paradigm in the integrative visionon existence as foundation as well as on the cosmic interpretation of theworld. On the other hand, the triadic structure of the family-life customshas explicit and implicit relations with the structure of any folkloric factthat presumes the transition from an initial phase to a new phase.The transition itself is, from the ontological point of view, the change fromthe virtuality phase to the so-called manifestation phase or from model tovariant, from abstract to concrete. This paper presents briefly some ofcharacteristic of the Romanian wedding music from Banat region.
