Landmarks of religious music within the hymnologic studies carried out in Timişoara

Abstract

This paper is a summary of the existing research themes of the contemporary Romanian Hymnology Seminars held in Timisoara. It also aims to review the main directions in Romanian hymnology, based both on the Romanian specialists’ own creation, and on Romanian translations of excerpts from universal hymnology works.
