THE PEDAGOGY OF THE ART HIGH SCHOOL TIMIȘOARA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ITS GRADUATES

Abstract

The experimental pedagogy of the Art High-School Timișoara is defined through the viewpoints of former learners who have become notable characters in the domain of architecture, design or art. Thus, the art high-school can be defined as a state of mind, generating a way to perceive the world, a lesson of liberty and assumption, a model of communication and collaboration with others in interdisciplinary projects. The exceptionality of this pedagogy has created a break with the educational and social context of the moment. The study is based on a complex documentary material, interviews and correspondence with the former graduates of this high-school.
