THE INFLUENCE OF PAINTING ON PHOTOGRAPHY

Abstract

The photography was born from the drive of perpetuation of an image, taken from the objective reality. Its transition towards art was done by its admiration of traditional arts, in particular towards painting. This explains imitating old models did way bringing the photography in the art museums. Progressive the photographers became real artists by getting away from the influence of painting. Modern techniques offer a fabulous universe of coming off the reproduction of reality.
