THE REINTERPRETATION OF THE EXPERIMENT, THE EXPERIMENT AS REINTERPRETATION - REINSERTION OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE NEW PHOTOGRAPHY

Abstract

The present article presents the condition in which the new photography is situated in its relationship with the «archaeo» and the proto-photography and with the creators of it. The article also presents the relationship of the old photographic techniques and the new ones into the contemporary social and cultural context and also the effects of these connections over the modeling of visual perception in the present civilization. The debate is about the innovative applications of the old photographic techniques under the circumstances of the technical experiment through the conceptual partnerships of the new photography, thus having an impact over the offering of the necessity of the images in the contemporary visual space/skyline.
